Würth’s Electrical Wholesale Group (W.EG) boosts its leading position in Poland with the help of a strategic partnership with Kaczmarek Electric S.A (Kaczmarek). On 14 January 2021, W.EG signed the purchase agreement with Kaczmarek Electric.

The transaction will consist of two principal elements: Würth Electrical Wholesale Group Polska S.A. (W.EG Polska) will take on all shares of Kaczmarek Electric S.A.. In return, Cezary Kaczmarek, Managing Director of Kaczmarek, will receive 40 percent of the shares of W.EG Polska and join the board of W.EG Polska.

This acquisition supports W.EG’s growth strategy, helps to get faster access to new markets and strengthens Würth’s presence in Poland.

Once the antitrust authorities have given their consent, W.EG Polska will be active on the Polish market with three independent sales organizations: Enexon Polska Sp. z o. o. (Enexon), Fega Poland Sp. z o. o. (Fega) and Kaczmarek.
