With effect from 1 January 2025, three positions on the Würth Group’s boards will be filled with new members.

1. Supervisory Board of the Würth Group
Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Reinhold Würth (89), the prominent leader of the Würth Group for decades, will hand over his position as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Würth Group to his grandson Benjamin Würth (43). Benjamin Würth has been working for the company for 25 years and has gained extensive professional experience both at a national and international level. Reinhold Würth will remain Honorary Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Würth Group.

2. Advisory Board of the Würth Group
The Advisory Board of the Würth Group consists of nine members, most of which are non-family members. It has been chaired by Bettina Würth (63), the daughter of Reinhold Würth, since 2006. Bettina Würth will hand over her position as chair of the Advisory Board to her nephew Sebastian Würth (39). Sebastian Würth has been working for the company since 2012 and holds a Master of Arts in Family Entrepreneurship. Bettina Würth is also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Würth Group, and will become Honorary Chairwoman of the Advisory Board of the Würth Group.

3. Executive Vice President of the Würth Group for Arts and Culture
C. Sylvia Weber (63), in charge of art and cultural activities, will transfer most of her tasks to Maria Würth (34), the daughter of Bettina Würth. Maria Würth holds a Master of Arts in Art History from the University of Tübingen and, mentored by C. Sylvia Weber, has prepared herself for this position since 2018.

The succession of these three positions has been prepared for a long time. Both the family and the company attach great importance to continuity once the successors, who have known the company from their earliest age, will have taken over. This will ensure that the corporate culture we live by will be continued without any disruptions.
