The US Initiates the Third Sunset Review of Antidumping Duties on Steel Threaded Rods from China

On February 3, 2025, the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the initiation of the third sunset review of the antidumping duties on steel threaded rods from China. Meanwhile, the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) launched its third sunset review on industry injury of steel threaded rods from China, to determine whether revocation of the order would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to the domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable time.

It is requested by the DOC that those seeking recognition as interested parties to a proceeding should submit an entry of appearance within 10 days of the publication of the Notice of Initiation. To be assured of consideration, the deadline for responses to the Commission is by March 5, 2025. Comments on the adequacy of responses may be filed with the Commission by April 17, 2025.
