According to the latest statistics from the Taiwan (China) Fastener Association, Taiwan's fastener export volume reached 327,100 tons in the first quarter of 2025, a year-on-year increase of 3.37%, indicating a gradual recovery in the export market. Although the export unit price decreased slightly by 2.82%, the increase in sales drove the overall export performance upward.

 Among the main export markets, the quantities of Taiwan’s fasteners sold to the United States, Japan, Germany, Spain, Sweden and other countries have significantly increased. In particular, the U.S. market has performed outstandingly, with an export volume of 153,300 tons in the first quarter, a year-on-year increase of 5.15%, accounting for nearly half of the total exports. Industry analysis shows that the U.S.-China tariff war has temporarily created a transfer order opportunity for Taiwanese manufacturers.

 In addition, due to the impact of U.S. tariffs, the European market has also pulled in a large amount of goods in advance. Exports to Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands in March increased by 102.66%, 117.83% and 175.41% month-on-month respectively, showing strong growth momentum.
